HOW IT WORKS
SIMPLE STEPS FOR SUCCESS
Holiday Treasures Gift Shop ™ is a magical shopping experience in the school for children. Our risk-free program can be for FUN or FUND RAISING by your parent organization. Holiday Treasures provides you with quality gifts at kid-friendly prices on consignment and all the promotional materials needed for your event. Children love to buy "in-secret" for their family members. We make it easy for you to be successful and make a profit, too!

STEP 1: GETTING STARTED

Want a fun shopping event for children at your school?


  • Choose your week and shopping dates
    (Best shopping dates are Tue., Wed. and Thur.)
  • Choose your profit mark-up
    (5%, 10%, or 20%)
  • Sign up by calling 800-242-5655
  • A local representative will contact you shortly!

STEP 2: PLANNING AND PROMOTING

We make it easy for you to host a successful event!


  • Our online Success Manual will guide you step-by-step
  • Use our free posters and fliers to get the "word" out
  • Share our Gift Wish List with families in advance of your shop
  • Send a link to your shop's custom Gift Preview Site for online viewing & shopping (if selected)
  • Access your online Chairperson Dashboard for additional promotional tools


STEP 3: READY TO BEGIN SHOP

When your gifts arrive, it is time to open shop!


  • Display your gifts delivered free to your school
  • Decorate with table cloths and price labels provided
  • Set up your shop’s Ez Scanner or tablet for checkout
  • Organize your parent volunteers to assist children with their shopping
  • Use our self-sealing gift bags to wrap gifts purchased
  • Reorder any gift item running low for delivery the next morning

STEP 4: CLOSING UP SHOP

You do not need to count your unsold gift inventory


  • Complete your End of Sale worksheet online or use the paper copy provided
  • Compute your shop's profit
  • Pack up unsold gifts in their original boxes
  • Write a check to Fun Events for gifts sold and enclose in the envelope provided
  • Free pick up at your school is included
